55-year-old Mike Tyson is still fit enough to enter the boxing ring and trade haymakers. He faced former two-division champion Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition in 2020, after a 15-year-long hiatus from pro-boxing. Hence, it verifies Tyson to have followed a lifestyle like an athlete.

Although ‘Iron’ has admitted to being a regular smoker now, he still keeps a check on his diet and fitness drills. In an exclusive interaction with Westword, when asked about his current diet, Tyson said, “Mostly rice and beans. Could be an Impossible burger. Could be some bison.” “I eat very little meat; probably like 2 percent of my food is meat. I think it would be refried beans or hummus.”

According to reports, Tyson had a four-meal per day plan. He also had his cheat meals but was constantly monitored by his trainer, Cus. His cheat meals included ice cream and Cap’n Crunch cereal. He used to begin his day with oatmeal, Milk, and vitamin supplements. His lunch included chicken breast, Rice, and orange juice. He used to consume steaks, pasta, and orange juice for dinner.

A hardcore training of cardio and boxing drills complimented all of it. No wonder why Tyson saw the heights of his physical peak.
