Award-winning Chef Rachel Miller is offering a five-course tasting menu on Thursdays evenings for $50. With guests’ preferences in mind, she personally creates course after course to satisfy diners’ palettes, often providing the opportunity for guests to try foods and flavor combinations that are new and exciting. From eccentric Percebes (Gooseneck Barnacles) sourced from Portugal to Live Sea Urchins filled with glass noodles & tomato water nuoc cham, Miller masterfully tantalizes the taste buds and serenades the senses with every course.

Many of the tasting menu’s dishes are inspired by the chef’s travels to Vietnam and her love affair with street food. Most notably, the Grilled Coconut Sticky Rice Pops boast unique flavors like Peach and Thai Basil, Dungeness Crab with Lime and Caviar, and Wild Baja Uni with “Hella” Hackleback Caviar. When local urchin season opens up, diners can delight in local Marblehead sea urchins. The Cabbage Salad – green apple, maitake mushrooms, mint, buttermilk-maple nuoc cham – is made with cabbage grown on The Food Project farm at the local high school in Lynn. Additionally, Nightshade Noodle Bar’s namesake noodles are a must-try. The homemade egg noodles are made using stone-milled organic wheat flour from across-the-street-neighbor, One Mighty Mill. The flour arrives still warm from the mill and provides a nutty-flavor and firm texture to hold Chef Rachel Miller’s array of unique Vietnamese-inspired sauces and spices, most of which are sourced locally from Curio Spice Co.

Nightshade Noodle Bar is reservation-only. Reservations can be made via RESY.

NNB requires proof of covid vaccination - photos, emails and paper cards are accepted.

NNB includes a 20% admin fee on all orders in lieu of a tip. Labor laws in MA prohibit the sharing of tips with non-servers, which means that those preparing the food don’t get to benefit from an increase in business on a nightly basis. The admin fee allows NNB to share the tip-pool with these roles that are so integral to the Nightshade experience.

Well-behaved children with adventurous palates are welcome to dine at Nightshade Noodle Bar. Please note that NNB does not offer an a la carte menu, therefore all guests, including children, must participate in the tasting menu experience.
