After the Dallas man decided to do something good for his son's hospital, thousands of toys and stuffed animals were a way to comfort a sick child.

Employees of Dallas-based Integrity Marketing Group launched a holiday toy event to benefit the Dallas Children's Medical Center.

They broke the goal of 500 toys and collected more than 3,000.

The CEO of the company unexpectedly donated $100,000.

The latest news from northern Texas.

All of this was inspired by the 9-year-old Asher, the son of Bryan W. Adams, who was recently a patient at the Children's Hospital. Adams said that he and his family would like to say thank you, give back and hope to bring some happiness to the patients and their families.

Adams said at the press conference: "My son was a patient at the Children's Hospital. At the time, they had very limited choices for stuffed animals. This inspired me to summon our staff to play with toy cars. "One of Integrity's core values is service- Seeing our Integrity family come together to support such a worthy cause and surpassed our original goal of bringing 3,000 toys from 500 toys, which makes me very proud of our Integrity family. I hope these toys can bring joy to their patients this holiday and throughout the year. "
